The City Of Newport Beach is helping to deal with its homelessness issue which is a priority for the city. The city has partnered with City Net and, other regional partners throughout the county as well as state to deal with the issue during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The county also operates a hotline for immediate assistance the County Crisis Prevention Hotline is (877) 727-4747. The City Of Newport Beach is also involved with the new Bridge shelter being built near John Wayne Airport.
